I guess you’re wondering where I’ve gone to, disappeared, hidden and concealed myself from this beautiful blog. Trust me, I’m as hurt as you.
I’ve been trying to set up myself for graduate school and believe me, it was a looong process. I had to take a hiatus from blogging for a few weeks but I’m so glad to be back!
I finally got my student visa and travelled so my family decided to stop by in New York for a day before transiting to our next destination.
In my previous travel post, I mentioned that New York is somewhere I would love to visit again! I last came here in 2008 so I was extremely excited to visit again.
I wanted to see Times Square again because the picture of the place was imprinted in my brain from the last time I went there and it’s such an iconic place.
Times Square….
Times Square is in Manhattan and it’s mostly known for all the brightly adorned electronic billboards and massive pop up shops below. It’s also super close to where the famous Broadway shows are played!
New York City is chaotic, crowded, a little dirty and full of life. There also seemed to be a lot of larger-than-life personalities here. I saw a lot of interesting things and strange people while I was in Times square.
As I mentioned before, there is no place I’ve ever visited that’s like New York because it’s so different! It’s also one of the only cities I know that becomes even more busy at night.
It’s such a peculiar city, I’m so sad I couldn’t see more of this place. I will come back again one day because I still need to see the Statue of Liberty duh!
Without boring you further, here are some of the pictures I took at Times Square! All of these pictures were taken on my iPhone! Gasspp!!
This looks like such a cool trip! Times Square really does look larger than life 😀

It was amazing to look at these photos you have taken in New York because I just returned back home from there last weekend. Time Square looks so magical (but at least I had so many troubles taking good photos there because all those people)! 😀

Haha I know exactly what you mean the crowd of people there was unprecedented! 😂 I could barely get some shots because I had to avoid 10 people at once. But the crowd itself was a sight seeing experience in of itself 😂😂 Thanks for the lovely comment! ❤️❤️

NYC is one of those places I have a love-hate relationship with but I never tire of visiting because there’s so much to see + do 7 its close by. There’s def something about Times Square – cliche and overcrowded as it is, it’s still a nice spot to hang in the city! Good luck with grad school!!

I get what you mean! I loved it but was somewhat horrified at the same time with the crowd and dirt there lmao. And there’s definitely something special about Times Square it’s really a cool place to just shop/hang out or people watch. Thank you for the lovely comment dear!

Happy holidays , Pearl . Good thing you came to New York City earlier before it got bitterly cold and started to snow. They’re telling people really don’t do New Year’s Eve because it’s going to be colder than it’s been in years. There’s always something to do here.

I think I’ve been to Time Square maybe twice. When I’m in Manhattan I spend most of my time in SoHo or Meatpacing District. Honestly it is one of my favourite cities in the US. Glad you enjoyed your trip

Oh this is great to see…I will be visiting New York by April and I have been told countless times about the crowd I will face. Seems like the story is true, but that will not stop me from seeing the Time square myself as well as the statute of Liberty and taking lovely photos. Good luck at grad school dear.
